Where do I go if my frames need adjustment?
Taking your frames to the same place you get your eye exam is recommended. If they do not offer this service, take your frames to any eyewear showroom and ask for an adjustment. If you are charged, contact us and provide a copy of your receipt and we will reimburse your total adjustment cost.
Where can I try on Empowered Eyewear frames?
Empowered Eyewear makes it easy to try on our frames right away without waiting for a shipment. With our Virtual Mirror technology, try on any or every frame offered using your computer or mobile device with embedded camera lens.

What if I need progressive lenses?
We can do that! Just select "Progressive" when choosing your lens type during the lens selection process.
Can Empowered Eyewear fill strong prescriptions?
Yes; we can fill the majority of strong prescriptions. If you have any questions about finding the best lenses for your prescription please contact us.
Can I interchange lenses into any style frame?
Lenses can only be changed within the same frame style. Pick from any of the colors within the same frame style. More colors will soon be added as will more styles that will fit each lens.
Do you ship internationally?
Not at this time. Empowered Eyewear currently ships to all 50 states in the United States. Free shipping is via USPS First Class mail with a 1-5 or 7-12 business days (depending on lenses ordered) transit time for the continental United States and 15-20 business days for Alaska and Hawaii. All orders ship from one of our fulfillment centers in the United States.
Can I rush my order?
If you need to receive your glasses sooner than the usual order times, please contact us to verify availability and shipping costs.
When will I receive my order?
Orders for frames without lenses or non-prescription glasses or sunglasses typically ship within 1-5 business days. Prescription glasses, blue light, and prescription sunglasses ship within 7-12 business days. If you place an order for multiple types of glasses, the entire order will ship when all pairs are complete. You will receive an email notification once your order has shipped. Include firstname.lastname@example.org with your email provider to ensure the email doesn't end up in your spam folder.
Does Empowered Eyewear bill insurance?
We do not bill insurance companies directly, but we do provide an itemized receipt for you to submit for reimbursement or use our Out of Network Insurance Claim Form.
Can I use my flex account for Empowered Eyewear?
The majority of FSA accounts do cover eyeglasses, reading glasses, and sunglasses. Most flex account cards can be used directly through our website. If you have questions about processing an FSA purchase please contact us.
